Comment on Regrets Can Become Opportunities by Amanda.
Thanks for sharing! It’s great to read about the lessons you learned along the way. I agree, you have to have patience and focus on the positives.
I have too many “fails” to list, but I have a deep appreciation for all of them. I had a “failed” business – so many important lessons learned from this one. My daughter recently asked me if I felt like I wasted two years on that business. I told her no I didn’t feel like the business was a waste of my time at all – I met a ton of awesome people, was able to share my knowledge to help others, and learned a great deal about business and life along the way, but it was just time to move on.

Off the Grid Living, Financial Slacker Style
I’m intrigued with the idea of living in our camper for extended periods of time. Living completely off the grid isn’t my cup of tea, but I love being out in nature, removed from the busyness of life. We have teenagers as well, so we plan to see what they are doing in the coming years before we make a decision on whether we want to sell the house and take off or not. Time will tell.
Half Marathon Training Begins Today
I think it’s great you are training for the half marathon! You’ve now set your accountability factor up by putting it out there on your blog 🙂 ! I look forward to following your progress.
I’m not a runner, but I am involved in martial arts and have to test each year (which is pretty intense, physically and mentally – and I’m over 40 too!). I’m beginning my training now (about 3 months out) by hitting the gym more and trying to get into a routine of practicing taekwondo each day. I think I need to put it out there on the blog for a little more motivation, though!
