Good luck if you decide to do it FS. 2 of the biggest drawbacks I’ve seen to start ups is that
1) The owner underestimated how much work there is to it (kind of how there’s so much more to blogging than just writing). They need to enjoy what they’re doing.
2) Becoming cash-flow positive is imperative after about 12 months (not including the owner’s own wages), businesses that are still struggling after this point may keep struggling. Profit is key!

The Ups and Downs of Blogging
A lot of what you’ve said here resonates with me FS. There definitely ups and downs, we have lots of ideas yet it’s impossible to them all at once..plus like you say, there are other projects too. Sometimes just having longevity can make a blog more popular – you build up a readership and more people get to know you. We aren’t going to shut down our blog..ever, probably, as long as blogs are a thing over the next 20 years. We’re probably going to take things a little slower over the next several months and aim for one post a week perhaps. Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this 🙂

I’m watching the election coverage as we speak. I love how connected our world is that I can watch it live in Australia.
I hope whichever way the outcome goes that the world reacts positively, lots of hesitation in the Australian stock market today – it’s quite interesting to watch our markets being open as the votes come in, definitely is having an effect.

I think we’re working towards our dreams, but there’s a long way to go with it. First we want to have a child, then everything will fall into place after that 🙂

Politics Continues to Dominate With Tonight’s Presidential Debate
Not only is the quality of debate and ideas offered extremely disappointing, but the promises of a few of Trump’s supporters to pretty much have a revolution is truly worrying, as is Trump’s refusal to just accept the result of the election like every other politician has over the years.
The constant hyperbole and exaggeration of how bad presidents are just makes the reaction worse and worse. I wish at least the people at the top of political pyramid would treat people with respect – that would hopefully at least be a good role model for their supporters.
