I’ve been thinking about food more and more lately. I’m guessing it’s a byproduct of trying to change my eating habits and lose weight. In any event, I came across two food related websites that I wanted to share, one a recipe blog and the other a restaurants review site.
The first site is Three Olives Branch – a cooking and lifestyle blog run by Kim. I am always a little in awe of those who run recipe blogs. I cannot imagine how much effort and time goes into each post as not only does Kim write about each item, she prepares each item, and takes pictures along the way.
But I am appreciative of the hard work as the recipes all look great. I am thinking about trying the Bourbon Blue Cheese Steak Sliders soon.
The other is the restaurants review site Eater. This is a popular site known for their featured Eater 38 series which reviews 38 of the best or most trendy places to eat in different cities. They keep the list updated as restaurants tend to come and go. Honestly, even in the cities that I know relatively well, I am not familiar with many of the places reviewed.
Restaurants have become a big part of our cultural experience and it’s nice to have a list of different and new places to try either in your own hometown or when you’re visiting somewhere.
Readers, if you live in one of the cities profiled in Eater 38, are you familiar with any of the profiled restaurants? What do you think of the ones they’ve included?
